I built FinancialDataAPIs because I was frustrated by how hard it was to get clean, developer-friendly financial data. Most financial data APIs are built for Excel jockeys — sprawling REST endpoints, cryptic documentation, and CSV downloads that feel stuck in 2005.
As a developer, I wanted something different: quantitative signals delivered through a simple API, with machine-readable JSON, clear documentation, and a pricing model that doesn't require a procurement department. So I built it myself — bootstrapped with under $1,000, running on lean infrastructure, and designed from the ground up for developers and AI agents.
FinancialDataAPIs is fully independent. No venture capital, no outside investors, no pressure to chase growth at the expense of the product. Every decision — from the API design to the pricing tiers — is made with one question in mind: “Would I want to use this?”
